Capita Travel and Events wins place on Public Sector Travel and Venue Solutions Commercial Agreement

Capita Travel and Events, the UK’s specialist in travel, meetings and event management has been awarded a position on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) RM6016 Commercial Agreement for ‘Public Sector Travel and Venue Solutions’; the new enabling route for travel and venue services.
Capita Travel and Events is one of only three suppliers to be awarded a place on ‘Solution 4’ of the Commercial Agreement, following a rigorous evaluation and selection process. Solution 4 provides central government, wider public sector and third sector organisations with access to fully managed, online and offline travel services covering UK and international rail, accommodation and air.
The new Commercial Agreement provides a quick and efficient route to market to reduce procurement process costs for eligible customers. It enables spend across all customers to be aggregated to achieve economies of scale, commercial benefits, improved efficiencies and savings. Public sector organisations selecting Capita Travel and Events from the agreement will benefit from the company's Smarter Working approach which harnesses data insights and behavioural science to improve organisational savings and employee wellbeing.
