We believe that corporate responsibility (CR) means acting responsibly in all that we do – supporting all our stakeholders, including the communities and environment in which we work.

The world is evolving. As a business, we need to change with it. The increasing demand for accessible information and advances in technology means an increase in demand for energy and people. So how are we trying to make a positive difference?

Our sustainability plan

As part of Capita Plc, our sustainability plan targets four key areas to help us grow and add value in a transparent and responsible way. Our responsible behaviours underpin our business, enhance our relationships and further motivate each of us to be more conscious of the world we live in. The result is a more unified and sustainable business; view our performance and progress here.

Our four CR priority areas:

  • Customers and communities
  • Employees
  • Suppliers
  • Environment

Giving back

We are passionate about supporting charities close to our hearts. Our corporate charity partnership, chosen by each of us helps to increase our community impact, and is tracked and measured to allow us to understand and evaluate both the business benefits and the social impacts of our activities and ensure we are achieving our aims. We've successfully developed and launched a ‘Community Collaboration’ programme, and we get one paid day off work a year where we are able to use our skills and spare time to make a difference to local communities and charities.

Since spring 2017, we've been supporting Alzheimer’s Society who deliver invaluable services to people living with dementia. So far Capita's corporate charity partnership has helped raise over £100,000.

Prevention of modern slavery

As part of Capita plc, we're committed to supporting the elimination of Modern Slavery and fully meet our obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Gender pay gap reporting

The UK Government's gender pay reporting requirements are providing us with a good baseline and evidence from which we can develop our diversity strategy. Our data is disclosed on the government website and in our Gender Pay Gap Report.
